The short version: we don't keep your birth date, we don't set cookies, and there are no accounts.
For a reading you enter a birth date and, if you want, a gender. For a gunghap you enter two birth dates. That is everything the site asks for.
There are no accounts, and we never ask for a name, an email address or a birth time.
Your browser sends the date to our server. The server works out the result and sends back the page. We don't save the date, the gender or the result, and we keep no database of readings.
Gender is optional and does not change your reading.
A result page carries its date in the address, for example k-type.xyz/reveal?d=1995-11-17. That is how the page knows what to show without us storing anything. It also means three things:
K-Type sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics script, no ad network and no tracking pixel.
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any host, it handles every request, which includes your IP address and the address of the page you asked for, in order to deliver the page and protect the site. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers what it does with that. We have not turned on any request logging of our own.
When the site draws a share card, our server fetches a font from Google Fonts. That request comes from our server, not from your browser, and carries nothing about you.
Some links to products on K-Type may be affiliate links. If you buy something after following one, the shop may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
We will always make clear which links these are.
Following one takes you to the shop's site, where the shop's privacy policy applies. Shops use their own cookies to know the visit came from us. We never send a shop your birth date or your reading, and the address of your result page is not passed along when you leave.

K-Type is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because we keep no readings and no accounts, there is nothing stored about you for us to show, correct or delete. We do not sell or share personal information.
If we ever start to keep anything, for example anonymous counts of which results come up, this page will say so before it starts.
