K-Type turns saju, the Korean tradition of reading a birth date, into a type you can read in a minute.
You enter a birth date. We look up that date in a published Korean manseryeok, the perpetual calendar a Korean reader works from, and get three pillars: the year, the month and the day. Each pillar is two characters, and each character belongs to one of five elements.
Your K-Type and its four-letter code come from two of those six characters. The colors behind your result count all six.
This is the short version of saju. A full reading also takes the hour of birth and weighs every character against the others. Ours doesn't, and we say so.
K-Type is a cultural experience, not fortune-telling. It describes what a birthday says about a person in this tradition. It does not predict anything, and it is not advice.
Nothing. There is no paywall and nothing to upgrade.
Some links to products may be affiliate links, which means a shop may pay us a commission if you buy something. The reading itself will stay free.
K-Type is an independent project. It is not run by, or on behalf of, any entertainment company or artist.
